Local Area and Activities
The area offers safe, sandy beaches including the magnificent Porthmeor surfing beach; quaint narrow cobbled streets (of which Fore Street is the principal one); numerous restaurants and cafes; museums, including the Barbara Hepworth; craft shops and galleries including the Tate.
The coastal path offers spectacular scenery and breathtaking views. Further afield there is St Michael's Mount, Land's End, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and day trips to the Scilly Isles.
